The company was founded under government licence in October 1993 with the head office located in Seoul. Within one year of starting our company DONGHWA-NESCO LTD. was appointed as Claim Surveyors and Adjustors Company by the Korean Insurance Supervisory board. This was in 1994.
To ensure our clients had full support from DONGHWA-NESCO LTD. we opened offices in Ulsan and Yosu which are major ports in Korea for the import and export of chemicals. To further supplement our services we proceeded to open additional offices in Busan, Inchon and Kansan which enabled us to expand our business into cargo damage, ship hull damage as well as chemical surveys.
Our offices in Samcheonpo and Jinju are very important for carrying out surveys on bituminous coal, on/off hire and bunker surveys. DONGHWA-NESCO LTD. was appointed as agents of Saybolt International B.V. in July, 1997.
DONGHWA-NESCO LTD. in now able to offer the servics of eight offices located throughout Korea. We have also started the Korea Aviation Survey Company for aviation claims.
DONGHWA-NESCO LTD. keeps good relations with our correspondents in the USA as well as East Asia. In area where we are not represented, Donghwa-Nesco LTD.is always prepared to travel to assist with the requirements of our clients.
We are situated in all the locations in Korea where chemicals are handled and are therefore well placed to carry out surveys to satisfy the needs of our estimated clients.
